Skylar ( moon & Back)

Piece designed as a proposal gift to my Fiance. My original concept involved creating a sphere that represented the moon replacing the beach ball in mock-up below. I wanted photographer to catch our reflection along with the moon as I proposed to symbolize the phrase "to the moon and back."

4'x2' created with spray paint, wood and mirrors.

Note: The piece was created in a two bedroom apartment without her knowing, NOT the easiest thing to do considering the size and the spray paint. I left the ring behind the piece as it hung at Mary Tomas Gallery in the Dallas design district awaiting our arrival the next day.

I am currently finishing the Oak frame.
